Souvenirs? Thanks But No Thanks

It's time of the year to do some spring cleaning.

Surfaced many items that are not practical, such as key chains, clock, bottle opener and chopsticks among others. These are souvenirs bought by friends and colleagues when they travel. Over time, one really does not know what to do with them. To throw them away is a waste; to keep them takes up space; to recycle is not appropriate. So every year, I will take them out from the cabinet and put them back after cleaning the shelves.

A better way to go green and save money is to buy titbits or foodstuff when go on travelling, rather than spending money on keepsakes. People can appreciate the country's delicacies and foodstuff doesn't have long shelf life.

Of course, this has not solved my storage problem this year. But hopefully next year, there will be a flea market in my neighbourhood again.
